COVID-19

Here are the guidelines from the CDC:

COVID-19 can make anyone sick regardless of their race or ethnicity.
Symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath. Seek medical advice if you develop symptoms. Older adults and people with underlying conditions are at higher risk.
Fear and anxiety about COVID-19 can cause people to avoid or reject others even though they are not at risk for spreading the virus.
If you had been in contact with anybody known to have COVID-19 seek medical advice. If you think you have contracted the virus, call first before you go to your doctors, so they can prepare.
The most effective way to protect yourself from the virus is frequent hand washing for 20 seconds with hot water and soap and not touching your face and mouth, practice social distancing with 3-6 feet distance to others and avoid handshake and hugging. Hand sanitizer should only be used if no water and soap is available, since it is a less effective protection.

In a recent study from UCLA published two days ago, COVID-19 survives in the air for 3 hours. This mean if somebody sneezes in a room and left, you could still contract the virus until 3 hours afterwards. Hence, self-isolate well and be aware of your surrounding.

On copper it survives for 4 hours, on cardboard for 1 day, and on plastic or steel for 2-3 days. This means you should thoroughly and regularly clean surfaces with disinfectant that you frequently touch.
